Our first bottle of Morellino di Scansano dates back to 1981, a few years after the creation of the DOC in 1978.

The vines that create this wine grow on sandy soil which brings to the glass a wine with soft and elegant tannins. Its notes of red fruit, typical of Sangiovese, accounting for about 90% of this blend, give the wine a pleasant freshness pairing well with most any dish.
